Privacy
The short version: Brokly keeps only what it needs to run the service, to reach you if you ask for a quote or opt in to email/text, and to connect you with a licensed advisor; the AI-assistant tools are stateless. The longer version, in plain English:
This website
There are no accounts. On the live site we run conversion tracking for our ads — to measure whether visits from our ads lead to sign-ups; it may set cookies for that. We don't use any other analytics or tracking. Your browser's per-tab storage keeps two things locally: the coverage picker's trade/state selection, and a note of how you first arrived (the referring site or campaign link, if any), used only as context if you share your email for updates — neither transmitted on its own.
The coverage check
When you paste or upload a policy, certificate, or contract to run a coverage check, it is read to produce that check. The reading is done by a third-party AI document reader on a paid tier that does not train on your data. We don't sell what you add, and we keep only what's needed to provide the features you use. Our service logs record metadata — token counts, the document type, and whether the read succeeded — not the document's content. The figures it parses stay in your browser tab so you can compare across trades and states.
Email updates
If you share your email to get updates — say, when your state's rules change — it is delivered to us together with context: the page you were on, how you first arrived (referring site or campaign link, if any), and your browser's language and timezone. All of it serves one purpose — emailing you about Brokly, with context. To stop, write to hello@brokly.com.
Getting a quote
When you ask for a quote — through the form, a phone call, or a chat — you share details about your business: your name and contact information, where you operate, your revenue, and the coverage you're interested in. We use them to prepare your quote and follow up, and we share them with a licensed advisor — Brokly's own brokerage or a vetted partner — so they can reach out with options. We don't sell your information. Phone calls are handled by an automated assistant and may be recorded.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in — by checking the box on the quote form, agreeing on a call, or saying yes in a chat — a licensed advisor may text you at the number you provide, about your quote and account (for example, that we received your request or sent your quote). Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile opt-in and SMS consent are used only for Brokly to text you — we do not share or sell them to third parties or their affiliates for their own marketing.
The AI-assistant tools
Brokly's tools for Claude and ChatGPT answer from published data and take no personal information. Tool calls are stateless: requests are processed and answered, not stored. Our service logs record aggregate counts (which tool, which trade and state, success or refusal) — never the content of a request.
Your AI assistant
Conversations with Claude, ChatGPT, or any other assistant — including anything you paste into them — are retained and governed by that provider's own privacy terms, not by Brokly. We see only the tool calls described above.
Infrastructure
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamp) for operations and abuse prevention, on the provider's default retention.
